Before you install VentraConnect Social Login, make sure your site meets these minimum requirements.
WordPress & PHP Versions
WordPress
6.0 or higher is recommended
PHP
7.4 or higher (PHP 8.0+ recommended)
The plugin follows modern WordPress coding standards and assumes a reasonably up-to-date PHP version. If you're on very old PHP or WordPress, update first.
HTTPS / SSL
Most social providers (Google, Facebook, etc.) strongly prefer or require HTTPS for redirect URLs.
- Your site should be served over HTTPS
- The callback / redirect URLs you configure at each provider must match the protocol (
https://) and domain of your site
Important: If your site is still on plain HTTP, fix SSL before rolling out Social Login to real users.
Supported Plugins and Stacks
VentraConnect is built to work with:
WooCommerce Pro
- Login, registration, checkout, and My Account
Memberships & Communities Pro
- MemberPress
- Paid Memberships Pro
- Ultimate Member
- BuddyPress / BuddyBoss
LMS (Learning Management) Plugins Pro
- LearnDash
- LearnPress
- LifterLMS
Note: The free plugin only integrates with core WordPress (login, registration) out of the box. WooCommerce, memberships, LMS, and comments integrations are provided by the Pro add-on.
Multisite
VentraConnect can be used on WordPress multisite networks:
- Settings are stored per-site
- You install the plugins network-wide and then activate them on the sites that need Social Login
Licensing for Pro: Licensing is per-site according to your plan (Single Site vs 5-Site/Agency).
Other Plugin Compatibility
In general, VentraConnect plays well with:
- Caching plugins - WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc.
- Security plugins - Wordfence, iThemes Security, Sucuri, etc.
- Page builders - Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, etc.
Potential conflicts: If a page builder or security plugin rewrites forms heavily, you might need to:
- Use the plugin's shortcodes instead of automatic placement, or
- Exclude specific login/checkout URLs from aggressive caching
Email-based login methods also depend on reliable WordPress email delivery. If you plan to use Magic Link or Email OTP, test real email delivery on your site before rolling them out to users.
If you run into a conflict, check the Diagnostics & Tools → Health overview page and the Troubleshooting docs.
